No matter where I work in the world, the question of motivating Millennials seems to pop up. Understandable, since this group of 16-37-year-olds constitutes the largest segment of the world’s current and future labor force (35% in the U.S.). The problem is, thinking about motivation based on generational differences has become a bright, shiny object distracting us from the truth about Millennials and motivation.
